Delhi courtroom grants interim bail to Olympian Wrestler Sushil Kumar in homicide case of fellow Wrestler


A neighborhood courtroom within the nationwide capital on Friday granted interim bail to Olympian Wrestler Sushil Kumar in homicide case of former junior nationwide wrestling champion Sagar Dhankar.

The Rohini courtroom granted interim bail to the two-time Olympic medallist on a private bond of Rs one lakh until November 12.

The courtroom directed him to deposit Rs 10,000 as safety with the Jail Superintendent.

Whereas granting bail to Sushil Kumar, the courtroom directed him that two policemen will at all times stay with him for cover, whose bills will likely be borne by the Wrestler.

He was granted interim bail by the courtroom on humanitarian grounds, to nurse his ailing spouse Savi.

The 2-time Olympic medallist was lodged at Tihar Jail for his alleged involvement within the homicide of Junior Wrestling champion He’s dealing with homicide prices.

As of now, the police have arrested 18 individuals in reference to the matter.

Two cost sheets have been filed towards Sushil Kumar and others by the Crime Department of the Delhi Police.
